The present writings do not properly speaking belong to the Bible. But they could have since they come from the first moments of Christianity. They are not really prophetic though, but they enable to understand the early teachings that were put aside by the founding fathers of the Catholic Church. We should remember that there were not only 4 apostles, but 12, and each had a task to accomplish! As for Mary, she was not the least informed, and she passed on her testimony as well.
