It is sometimes difficult to determine that a quatrain belongs to the past or the future. So the meaning must be clearly established. BON-BOURG means Bourbon in most cases, and this is the last French dynasty of kings (Spanish nowadays). But in other cases, this word would point to a French village (literally "Good Town"). The criteria for regrouping the quatrains are based on logic and keywords.
The Lily
The lily is the symbol of the French royal dynasty. It here refers to some important character linked to the legitimate crown inheritor.
5.39 Lily, Florence
"Issued from the true branch of the fleur-de-lis,"
Placed and lodged as heir of Etruria:
"His ancient blood woven by long hand,"
He will cause the escutcheon of Florence to bloom.

Some of these elements belong to Nostradamus' close future. The first Bourbon to pretend to the crown started while Nostradamus was writing the Centuries. But his attempt failed.

Could it be that Bretueil names a Bourbon or Navarrian. Not impossible. Nostradamus must have perceived the consequences of Catherine de Médicis' absence of grand children. And maybe the seer was involved in some sort of a plot against the royal dynasty.

Nostradamus often mentions the "heirs", and this may just refer to the royal dynasty.
