Introduction

This section deals with the great men of the Centuries except for the Arabs (listed in the theme of Asia & Africa). An objective point of view should be kept when analysing the vaidity of the "Great Future Ruler" theory.

The first criteria for regrouping the quatrains is based on the keyword "Great" beginning with a capital G. Then come all the "greats" without capital, the kings from identified countries and then the mysterious kings.

Kings to be identified 2

Next child (Puisnay) is a king or a powerful person.

A5801  Youngest child (Fr. Puisnay could mean more than simply youngest child), lady
The young King makes a funeral wedding soon,
Holy one stirred up, feasts, of the said, Mars dormant:
Night tears they cry, they conduct the lady outside,
The arrest and peace broken on all sides.

Posted by: Laury
Entrance in the world war followed by NY's destruction / downfall.

4.95  Youngest child (Fr. Puisnay could mean more than simply youngest child), Vestals

Posted by: John
To be linked to X-35 (see reasons in the theme of the secret code).

10.35  Youngest child (Fr. Puisnay could mean more than simply youngest child), Temple
The younger son of the king flagrant in burning lust
To enjoy his first cousin:
"Female attire in the Temple of Artemis,"
Going to be murdered by the unknown one of Maine.

9.8  Youngest child (Fr. Puisnay could mean more than simply youngest child), Writing - not necessarily the DM.
"The younger son made King will put his father to death,"

"Inscription found, suspicion will bring remorse,"
When the wolf driven out lies down ion the bedstead.

Unidentifiable kings

Chyrenc, Selin, Soloman, Arabic Prince, Great Arab.

2.79  Chyrenc
The beard frizzled and black through skill
Will subjugate the cruel and proud people:
The great Chyren will remove from far away
All those captured by the banner of Selin

Posted by: Raul Lence King
Black bearded Chyrenc cannot be Chirac since he doesn't have a beard and never had one. It has more chances to point to an Arab.

4.34  Chyrenc
"The great one of the foreign land led captive,"
Chained in gold offered to King Chyren:
"He who in Ausonia, Milan will lose the war,"
And all his army put to fire and sword.

Posted by: John
And black beard is not Henry either as this quatrain demonstrates.

6.70  Chyrenc
"Chief of the world will the great Chyren be,"
"Plus Ultra behind, loved, feared, dreaded:"
"His fame and praise will go beyond the heavens,"
And with the sole title of Victor will he be quite satisfied.

Posted by: John
The great world conflict seems to implicate Chyrenc.

8.54  Chyrenc
"Under the color of the marriage treaty,"
a magnanimous act by the Chyren Selin:
St. Quintin and Arras recovered on the journey;
By the Spanish a second butcher's bench is made.

Posted by: John
This quatrain indicates that Chyrenc is linked to the crown of Spain.

9.41  Chyrenc
"The great Chyren will seize Avignon,"
From Rome letters in honey full of bitterness:
"Letter and embassy to leave from Chanignon,"
Carpentras taken by a black duke with a red feather.

Posted by: Laury
And no doubt is left on the fact that the Chyrenc operates in France.

10.53  Selin
"The three concubines will fight each other for a long time,"
The greatest one the least will remain to watch:
"The great Selin will no longer be her patron,"
She will call him fire shield white route.

Posted by: Laury
The "Selin" (an Arab - or a Turk) is undeniably linked to Chyrenc. And he would be one of the three brothers (see the theme of the three brothers). The Epistle to Henry is clear enough: These three individuals will war against the Arabs, thus splitting the world in three parts. Could it not simply be a reference to the queen of France Catherine de Medicis and king Henry II? Nostradamus would have tried to impress them or got them to dream and wonder about their children's future. Or he may have tried to worry them. Nostradamus was a Protestant and they were his tormentors?

1.94  Selin
The tyrant Selim will be put to death at the harbor
"but Liberty will not be regained, however."
A new war arises from vengeance and remorse.
A lady is honored through force of terror.

Posted by: Laury
The Selin is linked to the Antichrist that comes from Persia.

4.77  Selin
"Selin monarch Italy peaceful,"
Realms united by the Christian King of the World:
"Dying he will want to lie in Blois soil,"
After having chased the pirates from the sea.

5.35  Selin
"For the free city of the great Crescent sea,"
"Which still carries the stone in its stomach,"
The English fleet will come under the drizzle
"To seize a branch, war opened by the great one."

Posted by: John
There have not been any pirates in this region for a long long time. So, this must refer to the times of Nostradamus and have a link with the "Great Selin Sultan" who was Turkish. Two Ottoman emperors - sultans - have been named Selim; They were father and son: one at the end of the 15th Century and the other at the beginning of the 16th. The synchronicity principle by which events repeat themselves from one cycle to the next makes it possible that something of the kind will occur again in the future.

6.42  Selin
To Ogmios will be left the realm
"Of the great Selin, who will in fact do more:"
"Throughout Italy will he extend his banner,"
He will be ruled by a prudent deformed one.

6.58  Selin
"Between the two distant monarchs,"
When the clear Sun is lost through Selin:
"Great enmity between two indignant ones,"
So that liberty is restored to the Isles and Siena.

8.31  Celin
"The first great fruit of the prince of Perchiera,"
then will come a cruel and wicked man.
"In Venice he will lose his proud glory,"
and is led into evil by then younger Selin.

Posted by: John
The reference to cruelty and to the country of the Great Morning are indications of the Great Conflict.

3.31  Soloman
"On the field of Media, of Arabia and of Armenia"
Two great armies will assemble thrice:
"The host near the bank of the Araxes,"
They will fall in the land of the great Suleiman.

5.25  Arab Prince
"The Arab Prince Mars, Sun, Venus, Leo,"
The rule of the Church will succumb by sea:
"Towards Persia very nearly a million men,"
The true serpent will invade Byzantium and Egypt.

5.47  Great Arab
"The great Arab will march far forward,"
He will be betrayed by the Byzantians:
"Ancient Rhodes will come to meet him,"
And greater harm through the Austrian Hungarians.
