This could refer to the arrival in power of the Socialists in France in 1981. The pope's visit in Avignon was delayed during four days because of a fear of an assassination attempt. This was provoked by some of the Centuries interpreters. The attempted murder took place in Rome a few weeks later. Some contend that it was initially planned in Avignon. If this were true, it would tend to confirm that places and times of prophecy could be modified but not halted. The reality of these of events is still to be confirmed.
