Because Nostradamus shuffled the quatrains before publishing, the only way to make sense out of the Centuries is to group them into themes. For more details on the methods of analysis and the way the themes were determined, consult the article "" in the menu.
To find a particular subject :
- Select the theme in the main menu at the top of the page.
- You may then choose a more specific subtheme in the left menu.
- You also have a possibility to use the index in the introduction page menu.

The quatrains:
The link "" in the left menu presents a collection of the Nostradamus verses that deal with the current theme. They are meant to be exhaustive and to serve as a reference frame for analysis.
- The quatrains were gathered according to some objective criteria, mainly keywords, unless otherwise stated in the first paragraph.
- Subthemes were determined in the same way. An example of a subtheme are the quatrains that contain the word "Alps" that are found in the more general theme of geographical places.
- Should any quatrain be missing or misplaced, visitors are encouraged to ask for the corrections and to expose their arguments.
- The visitors' comments are posted below the quatrains. Everyone is entitled to post his opinion in Nostradamia. It is not required to register for the quatrains section, but publishing takes about 24 hours. Rest assured that there will be no censorship.
